HiddenTV is a media and in-game project by a player from the LARP Vampire Life within the Katharsis chronicle. The goal is to capture the modern world and the progressive aspects of the VtM (Vampire: The Masquerade) universe and integrate them directly into the game.

Everything on this website exists within this IT (In-Time) world and deals with or shows actual played events. It is meant to provide immersion, give outsiders the opportunity to gain insights into our game, and offer direct links to the right contacts for those interested.

// CHRONICLE_DATA: KATHARSIS

Katharsis is one of several Vampire Live chronicles in Germany. It is played in the present day against the backdrop of White Wolf, which has been specifically adapted to the gaming needs of Katharsis. This successfully finalized the step from classic Pen&Paper to actual live-action role-playing. The point is not simply to replay Pen&Paper live, but to create an atmospheric and dense setting that allows the actors to dive deep into the game world.

Large parts of the original White Wolf background have been preserved, such as the vampire clans or the major factions and sects of these clans. Other aspects have been kept but deepened and adapted for live play: the classic clan weaknesses, for example, have been fleshed out with more role-playing hooks, and the various supernatural abilities (disciplines) of the vampires have been meaningfully expanded within the framework of their philosophy.

In addition to local gatherings (domain nights), which take place regularly in the individual regional groups, several large, supra-regional meetings are organized every year to bring the storylines together.
